| There are many ways to conserve water. Most
ways are free or inexpensive. Even those that cost you money initially will pay for
themselves with utility savings in just a few years.

Four Key Reduction Suggestions
- Flush one less time a day. This saves more
than three million
gallons a day in Seattle Public Utilities' service region - 1.3 million
customers.
- Spending a minute less in the shower. This
saves more than 2.5
mil. gallons a day in service region - 1.3 million customers.
- Use a car wash that recycles water. Most of
them do - ask
your local car wash if you're not sure.
- Reduce lawn watering. All customers: When
