2012 Water Rates    dollar drop

 

Effective January 1, 2012, Highline Water District will amend rates billed to residential and commercial customers.  The Board of Commissioners approved the new rate structure at their regular meeting held November 22, 2011.  

The rate adjustment is required to pay for Seattle Public Utilities' wholesale water increase and capital improvement needs of the system.

The average monthly water use of a Single Family Residential customer is approximately 6 ccf of water in the Winter (October to May) and 8.5 ccf of water in the Summer (June to September) 1 ccf = 100 cubic feet or 748 gallons.
